GRIFFIN AIRGUN AMMO -  .22 CAL. .217" FULL SIZE LIGHT WEIGHT SLUGS THAT PACK A PUNCH. HARDEST HITTING SLUGS WE MAKE.
HOLLOW POINT SLUGS WITH A LOW DENSITY CORE - CLASSIC PELLET BASE  16 - 27 GRAIN   100 COUNT
* With this setup we are able to get a .22 cal. pellet base down to 16 grains.
* This is the ultimate hunting slug. Expands on impact.
* The light weight core not only aides in expansion, but it removes around 5 grains from the slug. This enables a light weight full size slug that flies great.
*These are handmade from very soft pure lead. They do require two dies and twice the work, but the end result is one sweet slug.
** FX Impact new favorite slug. Shooting the 21 - 23 grain all the way up to 1,000 fps, lights out same hole at 50 yards.
* A general guide to the design of an air gun slug - With all slugs, diameter is very important. You want a snug fit. Not to tight, not to loose.
Boat tail and flat base are designed for the highest power guns.
Dish base is designed for high power guns. (my Impact loves them)
Cup base is also for high power guns but is a little more forgiving. For 30 foot pounds and up.
Pellet base is a shallow hollow base with an .020" skirt. This is a very forgiving base.
TC Hollow base .035 skirt is for moderate to high power. In general 20 - 50 foot pound guns.
Deep Hollow base .030" skirt is for moderate to high power guns. For 30 foot pounds and down.
Deep Hollow base .020" skirt is for moderate powered guns.
Deep Hollow base .010" skirt is for moderate to low power. This one is just to fragile to ship.
