Text of the Verse Card Reads:
One night I had a dream so real,
I felt so sad and all alone
I dreamed you came to visit me,
but only stood and read my stone.
There my name was chiseled on,
followed by the date of birth.
And after that a single dash,
to represent my time on earth.
As carefully you read each word,
I saw you stop and hesitate.
A puzzled look came on your face,
beyond my dash there was no date.
Suddenly I jumped from sleep,
It’s just a dream I wasn’t dead.
Now I’ve plans to use my dash,
knowing my life is still ahead.
Every day it seems more clear,
that in this life one dash we get.
And when the story of mine is told,
my dash will say … “No Regrets”
We print these
cards and cut the coins right here in our southwestern workshop just like we have been doing since 1977. Vivid eye-catching Verse Cards are created on
heavy weight greeting card stock which is then precision die-cut with rounded corners to a size of
2⅜" x 3½"
. After a careful [final] inspection, we pair them up with a preselected penny design. Dates vary on the coins, therefore we
can't
provide a specific date.
